I was recently on the market for a baby monitor and was extremely shocked at the products currently in the market. Most of them are cheap looking, poorly made and stupidly over priced with no real value.
Then I came across the Foscam, which acts as more of a security camera, but provides the same functions as a high tech baby monitor for a fraction of the cost.
Some of the key features include;
- iPhone compatible (you can see what your baby is up to while you’re at work - and controlable remotely)
- Great in low light
- Works on your wireless network
- 67 degrees viewing angle

Also, my favourite blog ever since I began reading blogs is Melissa at Dear Baby, she is wonderful. She also writes for babble so you can catch her there.

Military Dad Coming Home from Afghanistan Meets Baby Daughter for First Time
In the lead up to the birth of our first child, I couldn’t help but notice my wife and the soon to be born baby were being showered with gifts from day dot. Now I know the father usually takes a back seat in these 9 months, but I felt since I did half the work in bringing this child into the world (… well, sort of) I could treat myself to some kind of gadget / toy to help usher in parenthood.
Then I came across the Diaper Dude - a diaper bag designed specifically for men which can then be used as a regular office / casual bag when the kid is no longer in diapers. Absolutely brilliant.

Great site helping new or experienced fathers with useful information and products. Straight and to the point from the best selling authors of ‘Being a Great Dad for Dummies’ and ‘Call Me Dad’.
